Don't Let Dental Anxiety Keep You Away
Dentistry can be intimidating and anxiety provoking for many people, which is why we focus on putting the extra care into each patient. Dr. Emily needed dental work as a child and this scared her very much. She decided to take her kind and compassionate nature and put that towards making more positive dental experiences for others. Minoring in psychology in college helped her better understand the role fear plays in dentistry for many people.
We believe in explaining treatment thoroughly to patients, helping them process their dental decisions to choose what's best for them, and making them as comfortable along the way as possible. From our custom weighted blanket to calming paintings to an adult prize box for small incentives, we establish positive rapport and do our best to show care throughout every appointment.
Many patients have been able to get back into dental care after avoiding it out of fear. This compassion extends to special needs patients, children, and anyone who just needs a little extra care to help achieve a healthy, happy smile.
